Experiences & Packages Terms

By booking any of our services you agree to be bound by the below Terms & Conditions.

CUSTOMER AGE

All customers attending Island Days events, or hiring Island Days items, must be 18 years of age or over.

ACTIVITIES & SERVICE PROVIDERS

All activities offered by various service providers are all subject to availability and weather conditions. Island Days do their best to create experiences that will meet your expectations. However, we take no responsibility for any matters that arise with regard to or during individual activities with individual service providers. We will not be responsible for any loss, expense or damage that you may suffer during any particular activity, no matter the cause. These matters are the responsibility of each individual service provider and you agree that you will not hold me liable in any such circumstance.

WEATHER

In the case of undesirable weather, Island Days may need to make alternative arrangements with venue or activity. If no other suitable alternative can be made, then the opportunity to reschedule will be offered. Other alternative arrangements may incur an extra cost.

DUTY OF CARE

All items left with the customer during the booking are the customer’s responsibility. Any Island Days items or property missing or damaged during your booking times, will be charged for accordingly.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING

To secure a booking, Island Days must receive a deposit payment of 30% of the total price. This deposit is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION

In the case where we need to cancel or change your booking date, you will be well notified as soon as possible and be given the opportunity to reschedule or given a full refund.

In the case of the customer cancelling, please refer to the booking confirmation form which outlines the cancellation policy for that particular experience.

ALTERATIONS & AMENDMENTS

Sometimes due to unavoidable circumstances, Island Days may need to make alterations to your booking. We do this to ensure you have the best possible experience.

All attempts will be made to assist with customer requests to make any necessary changes to experiences. These will be dependent on the operators/service providers and their terms and conditions and availability. Any changes that are made after the booking is confirmed, will incur a fee.

It is your responsibility to meet booking arrangements made for you in the appropriate time frames. If you will be delayed or require last minute cancellation please contact the service provider as outlined in your program.

PRIVACY

Personal information collected by Island Days may be used for any purpose associated with the creation, booking or implementation of your experience.

The information may be disclosed to agents, service providers or other suppliers to enable us to fulfill the needs of the customer.

The information will not be shared with other third parties.

LIQUOR LICENSING

Please note the Australian Liquor act below. As such, it is illegal for persons under the age of 18 years to participate in activities that include the consumption of alcohol and in some instances denies them, or limits, access to licensed premises.

Liquor Act 1982 - It is an offence to sell or supply to or obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years.
